Basic reasons of excess weight and body fat


In this post, we are going to tell you about obesity.

Over 650 million (65 Crores) people are facing problems like excess body fat, overweight and obesity, and by this, more than 25 serious health disease occurs and ends health & fitness of our body.

It creates diseases like hypertension, diabetes, lower back pain, heart disease, breathing problem, headache, etc.

Causes : Insufficient sleep, over eating, excess junk, fast & deep dry food, indigestion, stress, no physical activities, sedentary job, not having breakfast, over eating in dinner, etc.

There are 2 types of major fats. They are:

1. Visceral Fat (Grease of Intestine) - This fat cover our organs and protect them from any type of injury and problem, but if it exceeds 2.4% fat, then it creates problem for our organs to perform.



2. Subcutaneous Fat (fatness below the skin) - Inner layer fat is visible below the skin of belly area and it spreads itself in other body parts, and because of this if the body is having excess fat for a long time of period, then it convert itself into a very stubborn fat, to which it takes lot of effort and time to reduce.



This is standard body fat percentage chart. By the help of this chart, you can maintain your fat percentage and achieve it by making a target.


View of Ayurveda : In our body, if Kapha from Vata, Pitta & Kapha is more, then it increase the fat and body reaches in obese level. So, you can also get yourself fit by balancing your Kapha.

How to improve?
  • Sleep 8 to 9 hours (Sleep before 11PM). Gap between dinner & sleep should be 2-3 hours.
  • Healthy & heavy breakfast is necessary.
  • 4-5 times meal in a day (small portion).
  • Moderate lunch & light dinner.
  • Junk, fast, deep fry food once in a week.
  • Select 30 minutes program of any weight training, yoga, cardio & 45-60 minutes of mix sprint + walk.
  • Easy step for reducing Kapha is (a) Surya Mudra, (b) Pitta-Kaarak or Kapha Nashak and (c) Gyan Mudra




a. Surya Mudra - 15 Seconds to 5 Minutes in a day.



b. Pitta-Kaarak Mudra - 15 Seconds to 5 Minutes in a day.



c. Gyan Mudra - 15 Seconds to 5 Minutes in a day.
